ISSEY MIYAKE PARFUMS has reinvented its summer fragrances every year since 1995, and this year’s will be released as a limited-edition on April 24, 2009 in Japan.
The inspiration of the Summer Fragrances 2009 is an urban landscape bathed in summer sunshine. So the fragrances express an unusual garden where a number of plants of various colors flower against the geometric scenery of a city with plenty of light and reflections on glass facades.

Until June 20th, the ISSEY MIYAKE flagship shop in Paris presents a new installation “Ballooon” created by Florence Doléac.

It is an inflatable salon where you can enjoy reading books with background music.
The installation consists of fishing nets containing multicolored balls of various sizes and put on carpets. Everyone is invited to come to find in these reliefs his/her own ideal position for rest. Thus when people settle themselves there in their own distinct posture, the whole work will be alive and provoke an impressive landscape.
