"Queen Mamma" on show in the exhibition "The Power of Expression, JAPAN"
(January 21- February 4, 2007 at the National Art Center, Tokyo)
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of "Japan Media Arts Festival" that has been operated by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, a commemorative exhibition "The Power of Expression, JAPAN" is now being held at the National Art Center, Tokyo, the new museum opened on January 21, 2007.
In this exhibition, "Queen Mamma" is exhibited with its 2 accompanying works. The exhibition explores the past, present and future media arts in Japan.
Queen Mamma was originally created as a collaborative project with Kenji Yanobe, one of the representative contemporary artists of Japan, celebrating the launch of the ISSEY MIYAKE FÊTE line in February 2002.
