ISSEY MIYAKE MEN unveiled its AUTUMN WINTER 2012 collection in Paris on January 19, under the theme of “KASANE”, an ancient idea in Japanese design which has been developed from the experiences of people in their everyday lives, applied to a number of crafts such as tiered boxes and wooden trays to make their living neater and more comfortable.
So the latest collection presents a variety of reinterpretations of this idea through diverse kinds of original textiles, forms and processes including dyeing.
Of special note is the appearance of new types of pleated clothing, shown in almost all the passages. Besides, a jacket group of which the fabric is developed with the help of BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE is another highlight.
Thus the new collection is full of cheerfulness and playfulness as well as warmness.
