DESIGNER—Chieko Kinai
Chieko Kinai graduated from the Department of Scenography, Display, and Fashion Design of the Musashino Art University. While working as a freelance designer after being in charge of collection brands planning in an apparel company, she came upon a knitting factory that uses unique techniques. This motivated her to launch her own socks brand, Kiwanda.

SACHIO KAWASAKI is a brand characterized by its modern and high-quality dressmaking targeted at urbane women. The brand develops original textiles and designs related to seasonal themes in a way to derive utmost harmony.
DESIGNER—Sachio Kawasaki
Sachio Kawasaki was born in 1982 in Fukuoka. In 2002, he went to the UK to attend the Basic Course at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. He then entered the Chelsea College of Art and Design and studied textile design. He worked as an assistant for several knit designers at Balenciaga in Paris while he was still a student. After graduating, he returned to the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and earned a MA in knitwear. His works upon graduation of school were showcased at the 2008 Autumn and Winter London Collection. He returned to Japan in 2009 to start his own company and label. His brand made its debut at the 2009 Autumn and Winter Tokyo Collection.
