* NEWS MIX *
“NEWS MIX” is ISSEY MIYAKE (women) SPRING SUMMER 2010 collection’s theme. The items are characterized with colorful prints, with various patterns and motifs from all ages and collected from all over the world. North (N), east (E), west (W) and south (S) are arranged onto textiles.

A series bearing the “NEWS pattern” print, which is the key pattern representing the tone of this season.
(T_L) This top is made by combining four tile-like pieces of fabric with different patterns.

The theme for ISSEY MIYAKE ( men ) is “VERY VERY MOSAIC.” The creation, inspired by Turkish taste, offers a feeling of fun derived from the intermingling of bright and energetic colors and patterns.

This series uses prints bearing the motif of Turkish tile, which represents the tone of this season.

SPRING SUMMER 2010 collection’s theme is “STRIPES.” Noticing that the folded pleats can also be regarded as a kind of stripes, colors that accentuate the pleats and prints that express powerfulness were fused together for this season’s collection.

The vigorous textile and design peculiar to this dress were made by sewing together different fabrics before processing, and then sewn into pleats.

The whiteness of cotton appears even more pure and beautiful in the reflection of the Mediterranean sun on rock faces. A deeply black color can be found in the shadow reflected between the massive rocks. Based on such impressive monochrome contrasts, images inspired from garments and landscapes of the Mediterranean region are expressed in various textures, techniques and key colors for “AROUND THE MEDITERRANEAN” HaaT’s SPRING SUMMER 2010 collection.

* SPRING SUMMER 2010 *
Since the release of its first collection - under the theme of “coexisting design” - the brand continuously expressed ideas derived from emotions felt in the nature, as well as delicate colors, balances and scents generated from nature, in combination with the silhouette, colors and details of its products.
The brand name “LEP LUSS” is a term coined from “LESS PLUS DESIGN.” The products will appear on our store shelves from late January.
Designers: Seiji Igeta, Yoshiko Kato
Seiji Igeta: After studying biological resources science, Seiji Igeta studied dressmaking at ESMOD Japon before joining “ISSEY MIYAKE.” He was engaged in “A-POC” and studied product design, construction and art, while in France. He thereafter moved his base to Tokyo and released “LEP LUSS” in 2008.
Yoshiko Kato: Yoshiko Kato transferred from Kobe Fashion Institute to Syndicat in Paris. After working in Yves Saint Laurent’s design team, she returned to Japan and joined “ISSEY MIYAKE.” She went to France again before moving her base to Tokyo and releasing “LEP LUSS” in 2008. She founded LESS PLUS DESIGN Co., Ltd. in the same year.
